Share Accounts (Savings)
DNCU offers a wide variety of ways to save and earn great dividends. We call the money you earn on your accounts "dividends" because it represents the money you earn as one of our member/owners. We also call our savings accounts share accounts because it represents your ownership, or share, of the credit union. All savings accounts are insured by the National Credit Union Association up to $250,000.

Share Accounts
Every member of Del Norte Credit Union is required to have a Share account with a minimum of a $5 balance. The share account receives different dividend rates depending on your balance - the more you save, the more you earn!
Dividends are calculated daily and paid on the last day of every month.
Share Certificates
DNCU's certificates offer the best dividends for our members. If you can set money aside for anywhere from 3 months to 4 years, you can reap the benefits of our great certificate rates.
All you need is $1,000 to open one of our standard certificates and you earn even more dividends if you achieve $10,000 or $100,000 balances.
Certificate Builder
We offer a Certificate Builder that helps our members who don't have the minimum $1,000 balance work their way towards saving for their future.
With just $50 you can open a Certificate Builder. You must also set up an automatic transfer or deposit for at least $50 each month. Once your Certificate Builder reaches $500, it will be transferred to a 12-month certificate to earn even more dividends. Certain restrictions and fees do apply, so consult your member disclosure packet for details.

DNCU's Holiday Savings Club is a great way to get ready for the holidays. Saving is made simple with deposits that can be made via payroll deduction or automatic transfer — you specify the amount you want set aside each month. Plus, we help you save even more with a higher rate of interest.
During the first week of November of each year, earnings are deposited and account funds are disbursed to your DNCU share savings account — just in time for the holiday season.
