What Teens need to know - NOW!
Congratulations! You just turned 18 and you qualify for $10,000 in credit card debt! That is the harsh reality many 18 year olds face today. Unfortunately many teens accept the offers and find themselves in a lot of trouble by the time they enter their early 20s.
The Score! Program
Score!, is a program designed to teach teens the basics of personal finance at the optimum time when they are developing financial habits that will shape their future. The Score! Program includes:
- A Score! savings account, which earns .25% more interest than a regular savings account
- A subscription to Brass Magazine
- An educational workshop designed to teach teens how to manage money responsibly (parents required to attend) plus a special teen credit card offer*
* The educational workshop is optional. Teens who successfully complete the Score! workshop are qualified for our special teen credit card (15 plus) - co-signed by a parent/guardian. The special teen credit card is also optional.
To enroll your teen in Score!, visit any of our 6 branches with social security card and birth certificate. Once your teen is enrolled, you will receive a welcome letter and an invitation to attend the next Score workshop in the mail.
Our next Score! Workshop will take place on July 31, 2010 from noon to 3 p.m.
