The Application Process

One of our loan officers will assist you in completing the loan application and obtain the required supporting information necessary to process your request. They will also…

  • Advise you on our Mortgage Loan Products and assist you in determining which product will suit you best
  • Collect required documentation to complete the application
  • Order your credit report
  • Submit your application to the loan Processor

Processing Your Loan

The Processor reviews the application to verify that all required information has been received. Once the application is complete the file is sent to the Underwriter. The Underwriter will review the file and approve, decline or hold the file for further information. If the loan is approved the Processor will compile the following:

Once the above information is received and verified, the loan is given a final review. The loan is then prepared for closing. The final documents are prepared and will be sent to the Title Company for their review. The Processor will schedule an appointment, with the Title Company, to sign your final loan documents.

Closing Your Loan

If you need to bring money to close the loan, you will be asked to bring a certified check for the remainder of the closing costs and down payment. Personal checks are normally not accepted and if they are they will delay the closing until the check clears your bank. After you sign, the escrow officer will arrange for the final loan papers to be reviewed and legally recorded. Once the mortgage has been recorded, final disbursements are then made.
