Courtesy Pay is Del Norte CU’s Overdraft Service for consumer checking accounts. Courtesy Pay adds an extra layer of protection and provides a safety net to your checking account. If you don’t have enough money in your account to cover a transaction, we may cover the transaction and overdrawn balance up to an approved limit. Courtesy Pay eliminates the embarrassment and expense of returned checks, and also protects your credit rating. There is no fee for Courtesy Pay unless you use the service. Courtesy Pay comes standard with all of our checking accounts for most transactions. However, due to legislative changes, DNCU can no longer automatically provide Courtesy Pay on ATM and Debit card transactions unless you opt-in. If you don’t opt-in, you’ll lose the advantage of this special protection AND you will still incur a fee for insufficient funds.

To opt-in, please complete this document and fax to DNCU at (505) 455-5366 or drop off at any DNCU branch. To learn more about our Courtesy Pay Program, please click here.
